ARSENAL ADVISED TO HAND ARTETA SACK LETTER

Arsenal Football Club are enduring a disappointing start to the current campaign so far, actually, one of the worst seasons they have endured in a long, long time.

Since the club appointed Arteta to replace Unai Emery and become the head coach, things have been shaky and have often gone from bad to worse. They are currently languishing at the bottom half of the table and are eager to turn things around as the mood around the club has been disturbing.

While they have been making commendable progress in the UEFA Europa League so far, their form in the Premier League has been something to worry about.

In their latest league encounter, they faced a rather rejuvenated José Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur side who have been in thrilling form this season, and as a result, are currently in the top four positions of the table.

On Sunday night saw Spurs welcome a weakened Arsenal side to their stadium in the north London derby, defeating Mikel Arteta’s side 2-0 thanks to goals from the prolific duo of Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son. The two Attackers have been in sublime form for Tottenham this season, as they are both in the form of their lives.

Both goals were scored in the first 45 minutes and while Arsenal commanded the possession of the entire game, they could not make any of their few chances count in their favor as they failed to find the back of the net.

Following the 2-0 defeat to Tottenham, pressure has kept mounting on Arteta, with fans urging the club to sack the former Pep Guardiola understudy.

The latest of the lot to voice his opinion on the topic is Watford’s striker Troy Deeney. The player who got relegated with his Watford side after failing to stay up in the league last season indicated that should Arteta suffer another loss in their next Premier League game against Burnley, the club should relieve him of his duties.
