ROMA AGREE FEE WITH CHELSEA FOR ENGLAND STRIKER

ROMA AGREE FEE WITH CHELSEA FOR ENGLAND STRIKER

The imminent arrival of striker Romelu Lukaku at Chelsea is a clear indication that there has to be a reshuffling of the Blues squad. As a result, the London club are expected to let go of E gland international striker Tammy Abraham, who has been attracting a lot of interest from several clubs his summer. Abraham has been linked with moves to Arsenal, Lazio, Aston Villa, and AS Roma in the past but it’s currently looking like Roma have stolen the march ahead of their fellow suitors in agreeing a fee with Chelsea for the transfer of the striker in this summer’s transfer window.

The search for a striker by Chelsea this summer sent a strong signal to Abraham that he would be leaving the club and that he should start looking for his next destination where he will play his football this season and it looks like he has gotten himself the perfect club to sign for. He was said to be leaving Stamford Bridge for Villa Park this summer to sign for Aston Villa where he had a great stint some years ago as he scored a lot of goals for Dean Smith’s side on their way to earning a Premier League return.

MANCHESTER UNITED RE-SIGN FORMER GOALKEEPER HEATON

While it is not the sort of transfer news Manchester United fans will be expecting at this point, the Red Devils have confirmed that they have completed the re-signing of their former goalkeeper Tom Heaton from Premier League side Aston Villa. Heaton had been linked with a return to United for quite some time now but manager Olé Gunnar Solksjær did not want to make any serious move for the veteran goalkeeper because he still had a lot of options in that position, including David De Gea, Dean Henderson, Sergio Romero, and Lee Grant.

WHY GUARDIOLA LOST TO CHELSEA AGAIN

WHY GUARDIOLA LOST TO CHELSEA AGAIN

Manchester City fans might have been celebrating right now if manager Pep Guardiola embraced the wise saying that ‘Don’t fix if it’s not broken’. The Manchester City boss tinkered with his Champions League winning formula for the final and that played a big part as Chelsea claimed a relatively easy 1-0 win over the Citizens to lift the Champions League trophy for the second time.

Chelsea are a different team under Tuchel since the German replaced club legend Frank Lampard in January and he had masterminded two straight wins over Manchester City before the final. UNITED READY £40M BID FOR REAL MADRID DEFENDER

Manchester United will reportedly go all out and try to sign Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane this summer as they look to try and shore up their defense. Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham has been linked with an unsurprising move away from the club, according to reports. Abraham was a star player under Frank Lampard until he lost his place in the team after the arrival of Werner, and since then, he has been unable to convince the past and current managers that he can be the starting striker.

This season, the Englishman has been restricted to just a few appearances by Tuchel, and the reports of him being linked with an exit have been fueled even more. Despite that, Abraham has still been an important player for the Blues and has been involved in more goals for the club than any other player.
