PALACE DUO OUT OF WATFORD GAME

The Crystal Palace defensive duo of Nathan Ferguson and Joel Ward have been ruled out of the rescheduled Premier League game with Watford due to injury. The two players will miss the game scheduled to take place at Vicarage Road on Wednesday night.

Ferguson has had a bad time with injuries since he became a Crystal Palace player at the start of last season. The defender recently returned to full fitness only for him to suffer a setback with a hamstring injury. While giving an update on the hamstring injury earlier this month, Palace boss Patrick Vieira told reporters that Ferguson won’t return to action until April at least as he was ruled out for five to six weeks.

UNITED OPEN TO MARTIAL LOAN EXIT

Three-time European champions Manchester United are reportedly open to the loan exit of French attacker Anthony Martial before the current transfer window runs out. This is via the report from the stables of English publication Manchester Evening News (MEN) which stated that the Red Devils are willing to let Martial leave on loan provided interested clubs will take care of his weekly salary. In addition, Manchester United also want a £6m loan fee for him.

Interim Manchester United manager Ralf Rangnick has already said that Martial has asked to leave the club this month after failing to secure a regular berth in the Manchester United this season. The arrival of Portuguese goal machine Cristiano Ronaldo from Italian Serie A giants Juventus in the summer of 2021 has limited his playing time.
